- Several clubs have fielded more than one team in the Surrey Trophy in the last 50 years, including Guildford, Streatham and Redhill (most recently around ten years ago).
- Streatham 2 are the only non-first team to win the Surrey Trophy, doing so twice. Several players from that “2nd” team later became Grandmasters.
